A busy Saturday

As you can see we had a busy day today. Andrea had a booth for Bowbakery at the Baby and Toddler show at the State Fairgrounds today. It was fun and exciting and they did well and will be back out there tomorrow.
Then Nick and Marissa went to prom tonight and stopped by for us to see them and take a few pictures.
Then it was off to dinner and a mini shower for Vince and Caitlin at the restaurant called The Journey. It was really fun and they got some really nice gifts. It is only three weeks till the wedding.

Caitlin's Shower

Today was Caitlin's first shower. It was very nice and beautifully decorated. Vince and Caitlin got so many nice things. It looks like they are well on their way. The next shower is next Saturday night. We'll add more gifts to their collection then. This is such a happy time for Vince and Caitlin. Good luck and best wishes.

Race for the Cure 2009

Today the girls from the bookstore and some of the mom's and I walked in the Race for the Cure. We were walking for Team Toni's Angels. Hilary and Heather's mom, Toni, died of breast cancer. We had a really good time and enjoyed being there with the 40,000 other walkers.

Baron and Andrea and Baron's family also walked for Team Cheryl Lynn Gambrel. Baron's mom also died from breast cancer. Toni and Cheryl would be so proud to see these great kids. I know they are looking down today with a big smile. With all our love and thoughts of them today we hope they find a cure.

Easter at Mimi and Papa's

It is so much fun when everyone comes over for Easter. Today the babies got their Easter baskets and then hunted for eggs. Then the adults got there Easter baskets and then it was "on" for the big kids to have their Easter egg hunt. Then we had a good lunch. Each year I try to do something special for the table. I worked for three night making name cards. My theme this year was Disney so I made bunnies with Mickey ears on. But I forgot to put them out. So here they are for you to enjoy anyway. I was afraid I had waisted my time and energy but I'll use them in the scrapbook. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. I love you all so much and thank God for such a wonderful family.
