Tribute to Dan Wheldon on the 28th Lap
Every May all I hear about is the Indianapolis 500.  John grew up going and now takes his son's and son-n-law's.  This year it was just the three of them; John, Baron and Nick.  But John made it out to the track for Opening Day, The Drivers Meeting, Mother's Day (we went out for lunch and then I left and they stayed for practice) and then the race.   John loves it so much and can't wait for all the festivities that go along with the tradition.   Here are a few of the pictures.

Gigi's first performance

For a few weeks we've been hearing about Gigi's performance.   She has been singing us her song and making sure we know that we are invited to come and that it is going to be "really funny."  It was so much fun to see her doing so well and made me so proud to see her shine with all of her other classmates. I took her a rose and she was so excited. After the performance they had some refreshments.   During this celebration she said to me "Mimi isn't this a fun party."  I loved the entire night.  Congrats Gigi I'm so proud of you.

Molly turns 5

This weekend we celebrated Molly's 5th birthday.  She had her party at The Little Gym and she and the 15 other kids had so much fun.  The theme was Strawberry Shortcake.  Missy did such a great job with the theme.  The goody bags, the decorations and the cake were so cute.  Here are some of the great pictures.

Happy Birthday Addi - His 7th birthday party

We celebrated this wonderful little boy's birthday party at Fro Yo.  Andrea and Baron did a Dr. Seuss party.  It was so cute.  All the great Dr. Seuss books were represented.  The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, Hop on Pop, One Fish Two Fish, and Green Eggs and Ham.   The kids got to plant some flower seeds, do a ball toss, guess how man gold fish in a jar and pin the eggs on the ham.  And of course there were lots of yummy food.  I think everyone had fun and we had a great time celebrating our sweet Addi's 7th birthday.
