THE MOST TRAINABLE ATHLETE

John is always trying to do something crazy.  This year he caught a piece of Chex cereal from the balcony that Evan threw over.  In past years he has done a dive in the pool in to a small kids intertube that was dubbed the "single flip double butt slap".    So this was his award from Claude.   It is always a fun time in HHI.

THE MOST INTERESTING MAN AWARD

Baron and Evan were having a great time with some funny lines by Chuck Norris.  So therefore, with all the funny moments Baron received this award.  Baron was always ready to party with the kids and so Claude this award fit.  

THE AWARD FOR THE MOST DIFFICULT JOURNEY TO HILTON HEAD

Well unfortunately, Andy got this award.  They had a rough trip to HHI.  Miss Delainey wouldn't sleep and Molly kept having to go to the bathroom.  I know we've all had bad trips but 18 HOURS!   That by far deserves an award.  I know that the long trip was worth it but hopefully the next trip to HHI will be a lot easier.

A big sucker and a few pigs

On Friday Andrea and I were playing switch-a-roo with the kids.  Gigi had to go sign up for Pre-school so I picked Addi up from horse therapy and took him to get a special treat.  A really big sucker.  Then we met Andrea for lunch and she took Addi to the dentist and I took Gigi to a class called "This Little Pig".  It was really cute.  They had stories and songs with hand motions.  They also had a craft to do where they made a pig puppet.  Then they took us out to the barn to see the new baby pigs.  Gigi got to put some corn in their feeder.  But we learned never to put our hands inside the fence because pigs are not very nice.  They will  bite!  It was a really cute class.

COOKING THROUGH BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS

Every chance we as a family get to have Grandma's fried chicken we take it.   We all love it.  I don't know what it is about it but it is ALWAYS good.  Even though she thinks its not "that good this time" or "there is not enough food".    We love it.  And this year was no different.  But this year while making a fried chicken lunch and cutting up watermelon she sliced her hand.  Luckily it wasn't that bad but it still bled ALOT!  So she got the award for the chef who cooks through blood sweat and tears.

We all love having mom with us and the babies can't wait to see her.  You can always hear in big shouts "Grandma!!!!"  And what a beautiful Grandma.  We love you Mom!

THE MOM THAT CAN MULTITASK AND STAY CALM WHILE DOING IT

Now those of you who know my two daughters know that Missy definitely deserves this award.  From the time she was in high school Missy has been organized and has always made lists.  She along with most mom's of two know that being this organized can only help.  She is the mom who always has toys at dinner to help pass the time.  She always has wipes when someone needs their mouth or hands cleaned.  She always has sand toys, chairs, umbrella's and tents for the kids.  I'm so proud of both my girls and the mom's they have become.   We love you Missy and keep making those lists!

THE MOST ANIMATED MOM AWARD

Andrea received the "most animated mom" award partly because she was caught in a video screaming and jumping through the sprinkler with the girls.  Andrea is definitely animated with the kids and full of excitement which is why we all love her and love being around her.  She loves the beach and vacation.  She and Baron are always ready to have a good time and get the most out of a vacation.   Love of the beach and family make Andrea that most animated Mom that we love.
