Spending the day with Gigi

I got to spend the day with Gigi today because Andrea is so busy and needed to sew. Gigi came over this morning and we played outside for a while and then in the "ducky room". Papa blew up a monkey for her and she loved it. We had to take it with us everywhere. Then it was time to go bye bye and do some girl shopping. First stop, Half Price Books to get Gigi, Addi and Molly a book. Then we stopped by Toys R Us for a Barbie buy. Before leaving I made the mistake of letting her ride the Pooh airplane and then leaving was a lot of No's. But not to bad. Then we went to eat at Chili's and she ate some chips and dippy and some chicken strips. Then it was off to Babies R Us to buy a baby shower gift for a friend. I had a wonderfully fun day as I always do when spending the day with the babies. I love you Gigi, Addi and Molly!

Splash Pad

Today we spent the morning at the Fishers Splash Pad. It was such a really neat place. Addi and Gigi really had fun playing on the play ground. The water park was really cute with lots of fun things to do. Then lunch at a really cute pizza place.

Staying with Mimi

Andrea and Baron had a date night and Addi and Gigi stayed with Mimi. We went out to dinner to Longhorn and had a great dinner. Then we made a stop at Target and then to the Wiggles DVD store. Addi and Gigi were so excited to pick out a DVD. Then we came home and watched Space Dancing. Of course, we had to go outside and swing and slide. Then it was time to put Gigi to bed. I hate it when it is bedtime. But I did get lots of good hugs and kisses. I love my grandbabies.

Sunday cookout

Today we decided to have a chili dog cookout. So we ask Andrea and Baron and G-ma over for lunch. We had chili dogs, corn on the cob, baked beans and potato salad. Addi and Gigi were to excited to eat much. But they had fun playing outside as you can see with the pictures. I love having them over. The only thing missing was Missy, Andy and Molly.

A trip to the Childrens Museum

Today we spent the morning at the Indianapolis Children's Museum. It is always fun and the kids love it. There favorite seems to be the Carousel area. Gigi really likes the dino's but Addi likes the climbing and the caves. We all had fun and then went to Hot Box pizza for a really good lunch.

An afternoon at the park and then the mall

On Friday afternoon I picked up Addi while Gigi was napping and took him to the park and to McDonalds for a drink. He loves to swing but wouldn't give up the Wiggles book. Then had to have a Sprite break.

Then today I met Andrea and Baron at the mall and watched the kids play for a while in the playground area. I love watching them have fun.

Spending time with Molly

I had a great time with Molly this past weekend. The Gambrels and I went for the weekend and then I stayed for a couple more days and Molly and I went to the movies and to the Transportation Museum. As always she was great for me. She was so cute talking to me.

I'm so glad I got to spend some one on one time with her. I love to see that big smile and to see her run to me and grab my legs. Once again being a "Mimi" is the best thing ever!
