Weekend with Molly and a trip to the Butterfly House

We went to St. Louis this weekend specifically to see Molly play soccer. But it was rained out. So we took my mom to see the Butterfly House because we loved it so much. This time the carousel was open so we got to ride it. But Molly wasn't ready for the horses yet. We chose the bench but clapped to the music. We had a great time with Missy and Molly.

Race for the Cure

Today was Indy's Race for the Cure. We walked again for Hilary and Heather's mom. Lynn Storm's daughters also walked for Lynn who is fighting breast cancer now. Andrea and Baron walked with Baron's family for his mom. I hope that we are a little closer to curing this horrible disease.

Spontaneous buying and credit cards get me in trouble

After all the Easter celebrations today, I looked out my back window and saw our old bench sitting on our deck. I thought, someone is going to sit on that and it is going to break. So John and I went to Home Depot and found a beautiful new glider. And now it is ours!

Easter Sunday

I love Easter and celebrating with my family. It has gotten to be a second Christmas for us. We have an egg hunt for the little kids and one for the big kids. They hunt for eggs and then find notes as to what their treasure might be. The kids were so excited with all their new goodies and the big kids like to find out what they get also. We had a nice lunch and then everyone had to leave. I love you guys and I hope you had as much fun as I did.

We were sad that Vince and Nick couldn't join us this year. Hopefully they will be back next year.

Missy and her family were in this weekend so we celebrated Easter this weekend instead of last. We spent Saturday having breakfast with mom and then going to the park. Then Missy and I went home to make desserts for Sunday. Then we all went to dinner at Arnie's.

Addi had to have 3 teeth filled and a crown put on. So Gigi spent the night with Mimi and Papa and then spent the day with Mimi on Friday. We are so happy that Addi did great and that he is feeling fine tonight. Gigi was a trooper because we had several errands to run so we were in the car all day. We went to Toys-R-Us to get a present for Addi and ended our day with ice cream at Maggie Moo's. I love my grandbabies so much and I thank God every day for the time I get to spend with them.

John and I went to Andrea's this morning to watch their Easter egg hunt and see their goodies. They were excited to show us their baskets and to open the eggs and see their loot.
